itzme.

Privacy Policy

Effective date: June 13, 2026

itzme. is operated by Walke LLC ("Walke," "we," "us," or "our"). This Privacy Policy explains the personal information we collect, how we use and protect it, the choices available to you, and how to exercise your privacy rights. It applies to the itzme. mobile application and related services.

By creating an account or using itzme., you acknowledge that you have read and understood this Policy.

1. Eligibility and children

You must be at least 13 years old to use itzme. Users under 18 may use the service only with the knowledge and involvement of a parent or legal guardian, who agrees to the Terms of Service on their behalf. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13; if we learn that we have, we will delete it promptly.

Family safety features for children under 13 are under development and will be governed by updated privacy terms and appropriate parental-consent procedures when available.

2. Information we collect

We collect information reasonably necessary to operate the services you choose to use, including:

  • Account information: your name, email address, and authentication credentials.
  • Profile information: dietary preferences and foods to avoid, optional emergency contacts, religious or cultural identifiers such as gothra and nakshatra, and delivery address when you order physical products.
  • Event information: event names, dates, locations, descriptions, guest lists, RSVP responses, and profile information you choose to share with hosts.
  • Religious institution registration: information you provide for a registration, including religious identifiers. For optional family-member listings, we collect only religious identifiers—not names, photos, contacts, dietary information, or other personal identifiers.
  • Payment information: Stripe processes payments. We retain limited transaction records such as confirmation identifiers, dates, and amounts; we do not store full payment-card numbers.
  • Automatically collected information: device type, operating system, app version, feature usage, crash reports, and approximate country or region. We do not collect precise GPS location unless you grant permission for a specific feature.

3. Sensitive personal information

Depending on what you choose to provide, we may collect sensitive information, including religious or philosophical beliefs (for example, religious or cultural identifiers) and foods to avoid where they may relate to health or dietary conditions. You may limit use of this information through profile settings or by contacting us.

4. Ingredient scanning and AI-assisted features

When you use ingredient scanning, we send the label image and your stored dietary preferences or foods to avoid to OpenAI in a single request so it can extract ingredients and return a comparison result. We do not send your name, email address, emergency contacts, religious identifiers, payment information, or other direct identifiers with that request.

We delete label images from our servers immediately after sending the request. We use OpenAI's zero-data-retention option for our API usage. We retain only the result category in your account history—not the image, extracted ingredient text, or full analysis details. AI may also be used to generate event materials from prompts you provide. These features are optional and are subject to the limitations described in our Terms of Service.

5. How we use information

We use information to create and maintain accounts; provide profile, event, registration, product, subscription, and ingredient-matching features; display information you authorize to share; communicate about the service and security; fulfill orders; improve the service using aggregated and de-identified analytics; comply with legal obligations; and enforce our Terms.

We do not use personal information for advertising, and we do not sell or rent personal information.

6. Service providers and sharing

We use service providers to operate itzme., including AWS for hosting and infrastructure, Stripe for payments, OpenAI for the AI-assisted features described above, and providers of aggregated, de-identified analytics. These providers process information on our instructions and under appropriate safeguards.

You control sharing through service features. We may share limited information with service providers; event hosts with whom you choose to share information; religious institutions where you register; authorities when required by law; and a successor in a merger, acquisition, or asset sale. We do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined by applicable privacy laws.

7. Storage, security, and retention

Personal data is stored on AWS servers in the United States and protected with measures including encryption in transit and at rest, role-based access controls, security reviews, and audit logging. Authorized Walke LLC personnel and contractors, including personnel in the United States and India, may access data only to operate, maintain, secure, and improve the service and are subject to confidentiality obligations.

No system is completely secure. We will notify affected individuals of a confirmed breach as required by applicable law. We retain data only as long as reasonably necessary to provide the service or meet legal obligations. Inactive accounts may be deleted after 24 months of inactivity. You may request deletion at any time.

8. Your privacy rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, export, restrict or object to processing of your information, or withdraw consent. California residents may also have rights under the CCPA/CPRA, including rights to know, delete, correct, limit sensitive-information use, opt out of sale or sharing (which we do not conduct), and freedom from discrimination for exercising privacy rights.

If you are in the EEA, UK, or Switzerland, we process information based on consent, contract performance, and legitimate interests such as security and service improvement. Data may be processed in the United States, and we use appropriate transfer mechanisms, including Standard Contractual Clauses where required. You may lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority.

9. Changes and contact

We may update this Policy. Material changes will be communicated by revising the effective date and, where appropriate, by email or in-app notice. Continued use after an update becomes effective constitutes acceptance.
